Cuban fiesta in Manila at Cuba Libre

From vibrant murals depicting daily life in Havana to exciting and colorful interiors, the Cuba Libre located in Serendra, Bonifacio Global City, offers a festive atmosphere for those looking for a Latin adventure of flavors and fun.

The Cuban-style restaurant brings the big and hearty flavors of the Caribbean island to Manila by offering classic dishes with heritage recipes and the homemade-style flourish known of the island-nation.

With Cuba and the Philippines sharing a deep Spanish cultural heritage, Filipinos will enjoy and discover many familiar flavors in the kitchen with specialties like Picadillo Cubano, the famous minced pork dish that we know as Arroz a la Cubana, Ropa Vieja – Cuba’s national dish (shredded beef stew), and Albóndigas Criollas (Creole meatballs in tomato sauce) braised with the classic trio of Cuban aromatics: peppers, cumin, and oregano.

Other appetizing choices include Masitas de Puerco en Adobo, a Cuban-style pork belly adobo, Pollo con Cacahuates (peanut chicken casserole), and Pollo Frito Cubano, Cuban fried chicken marinated in white rum and lime.

Add a side of sweet potato fries or crispy fried plantain ‘tostones’ and you’ll enjoy a filling and authentic Cuban meal you won’t find anywhere else in Manila.

Cuba Libre is a concept by Tasteless Food the team behind PizzaExpress, Le Petit Soufflé, Scout’s Honor, and Hanamaruken.
