Point Blue, a developer of integrated microstudios, is pushing for a series of business expansions providing young professionals more access to central business districts in Metro Manila, particularly Bonifacio Global City and Makati City.
The expansion is being made following the success of the first Point Blue project the Bonifacio Point in Guadalupe, Makati, a six-story integrated micro-studio building just a 15-minute walk to BGC.
Founded on February 15, 2015, Point Blue’s business model focuses on affordable rental housing solutions but without compromising accessibility, property management & design.
The following projects in the company’s pipeline with target completion dates, are: General Ricarte in South Cembo, Makati City (second quarter of 2018); Teka in San Antonio Village, Makati City (first quarter of 2019); Estrella in Estrella Street in Makati City (second quarter of 2019; Quezon in South Cembo in Makati City (first quarter of 2019); and General Luna also in South Cembo, in Makati.
Point Blue CEO JR Yujuico said that based on their research, “BGC and Makati are massive markets” for young professionals earning an average of P50,000 a month. Moreover, they also found out that here was a big market for first-time renters.
He noted all the microstudios are well-ventilated and include theater-quality soundproofing to ensure peace and privacy. Aside from wireless Internet, Point Blue microstudios are equipped with a bed with 6-inch mattress, underbed and hanging storage, drawers, desk with chair, roller blinds, air-conditioner, microwave, shower, water heater and bidet come standard with each unit.
